About
Beverly McRee grew up in Saint Croix, US Virgin Island, but was born on the island of Trinidad. When she began her teenager years, her family moved to Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Her desire to be an accountant started after taking a class in high school. From there she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend college at Tennessee State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduation, she moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to begin her career. This move also brought her closer to her Caribbean roots.
In the Fort Lauderdale area, she began her career as a clerk in the accounting department of a commercial real estate developer handling data entry. She moved into different positions along the way as a staff accountant, senior accountant, accounting manager and then to a controller position in a small professional employer organization which is referred to as employee leasing. After several years in Fort Lauderdale, family obligations brought her to Memphis, Tennessee.
After years in Memphis then dealing with Covid and having to work on remote projects, she decided it was time to find a work family. Every day, she looks forward to supporting The Crone Law Firm’s clients and her colleagues. In her spare time, she likes to travel with her family and friends.
