Phil Ruth

Paralegal-Case Manager

Helping people get back to work means a lot to me. I’m excited to help people move past their worst days as stress free as possible.

About

Phil was born in Kansas, spent his childhood in Dallas, and finished high school in St. Louis. Refusing to grow up, Phil left Mizzou during his senior year of college to return to Dallas and be a zookeeper for 3 years. Though he loved his time there, Phil decided to finish what he started and returned to the University of Missouri, graduating with a B.S. in Animal Science in 1995.

After college, Phil experimented with a variety of professions, including working as a Lab Tech, an EMT, and a firefighter, before finding his vocation as a paralegal. With over 23 years in the legal field, he seems to have found his calling with employment law.

Outside of work, Phil is a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT), and he has trained service dogs for people with disabilities. He enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Aimee, and their 4 dogs and 4 cats, with occasional visits from their two grown sons. Not to be overshadowed by the attorneys in the firm, Phil has two standard poodles of his own.
