Jennifer Mitchell

Associate Attorney

I am very thankful to work for a firm that honestly cares about their clients and has a well-earned reputation for integrity in their advocacy.

About

Jennifer grew up in a small town in rural Ohio, but has lived and worked in Indiana, North Carolina, and Florida, ultimately settling down in Memphis to raise her family. She earned her undergraduate degree at Ball State University and her JD from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.

Jennifer Mitchell has always had a natural curiosity for life which has taken her down different paths in life, all of which have afforded her a broad base of experiences to apply in her role advocating for others. In her early professional career, she gained multi-jurisdictional experience as a practicing immigration attorney in South Florida. Subsequently, upon moving back to Tennessee in 2008, she focused on plaintiffs work and civil litigation.

After taking some time away from the legal profession to focus on family she was inspired to return to the legal profession viewing it as a way to facilitate a positive change in the world, advocating for people who deserved and needed justice.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, traveling to baseball tournaments, hunting, fishing and cooking out with friends. Let’s Go Get Some Justice!
